Traversing the maze of web-land to show you the best (or maybe just the interesting?) of what it showed me this past week:

Pray for John Piper’s surgery.

Visit the new Grace Community Church website. Though still a “work in progress,” we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Just in case you were ever interested, browse the Ronald Reagan Library’s list of movies that Ronald Reagan watched while in office and where he watched them. Oh the glory of useless information.

Browse Decoymusic’s list of the Top 50 Instrumental Releases of 2005.

Read about Planned Parenthood actively coaching girls to lie in order to obtain abortions (ht: LaShawn Barber).

Read Christianity Today’s report concerning Chris Tomlin’s nine GMA nominations.

Read Alpha and Omega’s announcement concerning James White’s upcoming debate Is the New Testament We Possess Today Inspired? with Shabir Ally.

Read Newsday’s article regarding the cartoon drama that claims “the furor was deliberately stoked by a group of Danish imams who toured the Middle East with a portfolio that included images never printed in his paper” (ht: Pearcey Report).

Read Joe Carter’s insightful The Radically Conservative Center: Why The Political ‘Center’ Isn’t What You’d Expect.

Read Denny Burk’s Coretta Scott King’s Funeral and No-Class Politics.

Read as Steve McCoy keeps account of the ongoing SBC/IMB debate concerning the new policy concerning baptism, including comments by Tom Ascol and Hershael York

Also, read Steve’s interesting account that the once proposed “friendly debate” between Al Mohler and Paige Patterson concerning Election is now a discussion on Reaching Today’s World Through Differing Views of Election. Disappointing as the SBC one again shies away from true theological dialogue.

Read Baptist Press‘ account of Thom Rainer’s inauguration as president of Lifeway.

Also read Baptist Press‘ coverage of the continued suspected arson against churches in Alabama.

Read The State of the Blogosphere. It is estimated that a new blog is created every second and the blogosphere is 60 times larger than this time 3 years ago (ht: AJ).

Watch the trailer and clips from Danielson: A Family Movie (learn more about the movie and the band here and visit their website here).

Read Law Professor Phillip Johnson Pulled On Darwinism’s Loose Ends by Susan Welch at Baptist Press.

Read Calvin And Hobbes - And Muhammad by Ann Coulter in which she makes the great statement: “In order to express their displeasure with the idea that Muslims are violent, thousands of Muslims around the world engaged in rioting, arson, mob savagery, flag-burning, murder and mayhem, among other peaceful acts of nonviolence.”

Read Land-Dobson-Colson, Right and Wrong on the Environment at Bishop of Rhome.

Read Irreducible Simplicity by William Dembski.

Thank you for looking at that. I appreciate it greatly. I LOVE your prison analogy, it is the same as his, I think, although it adds the aspect of why people are damned. His only addresses reprobation/election which then can lead to the confusion, as he did, of reprobation and damnation.

    Thank you again.
