Here we are at the end of the year again and it’s time to gather our thoughts and share our opinions. I’d love for you to share your thoughts about this past year; what did you like, what did you not, and why? What was your favorite music? Did you like a certain book? Did you gain a lot from a particular author? Did you “rediscover” or possibly discover for the first time a band from the past?

For the past two years, I’ve posted categories and tried to guide the conversation a bit (see here for an example). I’m not going to do that this year. Instead, I’d like to leave it more open-ended. What was your favorite music and why? What were your favorite movies and why? Television? Books? Pop culture moments? Whatever you’d like to share about this past year. I would like to ask that you share a bit about why you liked the things you did and if you would like to participate, please give your name, your city, a link to your website if you have one and if possible, a small JPG image of yourself.

I’m looking forward to browsing your favorites of 2007! Please e-mail me your thoughts no later than Saturday, December 22.

The year flies by so quickly.

It’s hard to soak in all that has transpired. However, I will shoot you some slooge by 12/22, though we wouldn’t be offended if you gave us a reminder a few days prior.

I’m happy we’re one closer to being done with the 00s. We had the “seventies” and the “eighties” and the “nineties,” but I’ve been whipped by this decades evasive nomenclature.

I’m stoked for 2013 so we can at least get to the “teens.”
