Good post.  The history is fascinating.  I'm actually a Liberty student.  I was there the day Falwell called it heresy. That's not entirely true.  He did say he didn't agree with it, but he didn't specifically call it heresy to the best of my knowledge.  So in a way he did, but not out right. I've had Caner for four classes there as well.

I disagree with both of them.  When properly defined I agree with all 5 points. I think you have to do some cut and paste to get around Romans 9 and others and not read election on God's mercy alone, not on anything he has foreseen.
