What is Joe Kennedy doing in Glen Rose?
A better question is how did he find it? :)

Pastor, since you are so crazy about Miles Davis, you inspired me to listen again to a cd made of his sessions from 1947. It was good listening.
The article about classic literature made some good points. I’ve been reading Tacitus, The Annals and Histories, and am unable to put it down. The time covered in these writings corresponds to earliest Christianity. His writing seems very present, clear and direct, revealing the unchanging aspects of humanity. I am surprised now and then by the odd culture of ancient Rome, but more often see that things have changed very little, aside from the beautiful message of Christ having made deeper inroads in this violent world.
